Julia Lang writes an article on the ten frameworks of life design
Julia Lang, Taylor’s Assistant Director of Career Education, has written What is Life Design? Taylor’s Ten Life Design Frameworks, a piece that condenses the underpinnings of our Life Design courses into ten core frameworks and mindsets while providing dozens of activities and resources that anyone can use to re(design) their life. Lang is the creator of Tulane’s Taylor Your Life courses.
Tulane University’s unique portfolio of life design initiatives includes 20+ annual sections of Taylor Your Life, a 2-credit hour class that reaches over 250 students per year, “Taylor Your Tulane” a course that helps first-year students design their four years at Tulane, and a life design series for graduate students.
Over 150 educators around the world have accessed our online library of life design curricula, which pulls from the fields of career education, psychology, and design thinking to support educators in teaching this creative, iterative, human-centered problem-solving methodology to help students navigate change and transition throughout life.
