Explore the topics of safety, abolition, and alternative futures in this series of four engaging sessions. Through the Social Justice Clinic Series, we hope to create a powerful space where participants can uncover, create, and define the conditions needed for a safe and thriving future at Tulane and beyond. We invite anyone (student, staff, faculty, etc.) who is curious about abolition to join us.
Feb 7: What is safety?: In the first session,  participants will investigate the messages we have received about safety from our relationships.
Feb 21: How did we get here?: In this session, participants will explore the history of campus police and draw connections to larger historical trends.
March 21: What is abolition?: In this session, participants will share their understanding of abolition. We will uncover assumptions and explore abolition definitions and futures.
April 18: Where do we go from here?: In this session, participants will explore alternatives and engage in visioning  potential new futures for the Tulane community.
