How do I enjoy life and improve the world given my own uncertainty and how hard it can be to make a difference?

Range and Radar is designed for those interested in answering this question by considering personal uncertainty and the complexity of the world.

The people we mentor often ask questions that reflect uncertainty: What approaches to work are rewarded? How does one maintain and deepen friendships? How and when can I be playful, creative, expressive? How do I feel less like a child around my parents? When and how is it best to switch jobs or go back to school? How do I make society more just?

As we work to answer these sorts of questions, our gatherings will be part mentorship in a group format and part peer collaboration.

Our chief goal is to help those in their 20’s and 30’s see forward—to add sensitivity and breadth to the antennae you use to align your aspirations with how you will improve the world. We also aim to create a small community of those willing to play even as they contemplate important subjects together.

We hope you will contribute as much as you feel comfortable, find it exciting to share and receive knowledge, and accept that our time together presumes confidentiality and compassion.

We promise one valuable insight per session … or at least several opportunities to laugh at us as we try to live up to that goal.

We welcome anyone 21 years of age or older for whom the above resonates. Participation will be capped at 16 (eight per breakout discussion group).

Range and Radar begins May 10th and runs for eight successive Sundays until June 28th.

We look forward to you joining us,

-Rafe and Ted
