Kosi Ifeji (they/she) is a sophomore at Tulane and serves as an Operations Assistant for the Taylor Center. Kosi is from Bangor, Maine, and is a double major in Sociology and Africana Studies with a minor in Environmental Studies on the pre-law track. Kosi is interested in the intersection between race and the environment and hopes that their future work focuses on these intersecting issues.
On campus, Kosi is heavily involved in the Africana Studies Program. They are a student mentor for the Black Studies Book Club High School Mentorship Program and is also an Undergraduate Fellow in the Africana Studies Program. Kosi also volunteers at the student food pantry organized by the Students Against Food Insecurity.
