About this event

Please note: This workshop is open to Graduate and Professional students only. Registration will close on March 18, 2022. If the deadline has passed, please email Darling Kittoe at dkittoe@tulane.edu.

Interested in gaining more clarity and direction on designing a meaningful life after graduate school? Taylor Your Life (TYL) for Graduate Students is a changemaking career development series for Graduate and Professional students to “Taylor” their life by applying methods and mindsets of design thinking (human centered design) to career development.

As you expand your professional network, you get to design how others see you and how you communicate who you are. This workshop will help you craft an authentic and simple way to communicate who you are as a whole, beyond your area of study. Join us as we explore a great way to introduce yourself, even if you only have 60 seconds to do so. Consider this a workshop on designing an authentic introduction—consider it your new “elevator pitch!” We will also cover how to use LinkedIn to find alumni and build new professional relationships in your desired field(s).
