How can global citizens engage in meaningful conversations around the coronavirus?
Monday, April 20, 2020 at 6pm CST, attend our free workshop: “Using design thinking to shape discussions around COVID-19 in New Orleans.” This virtual workshop will focus on the needs of people in New Orleans in light of the pandemic.
COVID-19, (the novel coronavirus) is a global concern that has mobilized public health professionals, clinicians, and scientists around the globe. Not only has the disease infected people around the world but it has also impacted global economies, entered everyday conversations, and has induced international hysteria. In this interactive workshop, we focus on people in New Orleans. Participants will use tenets of design thinking – empathy, optimism, and brainstorming, to understand and envision strategies in response to the COVID-19 crisis in New Orleans while building community with colleagues, identifying the facts, and establishing common knowledge on the pandemic.
