After spending 2+ years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Nicaragua, Sarah earned her MA in International and Intercultural Communications at the University of Denver. Her first position at Tulane was with the Center for Public Service, where she connected students with service-based internships and international service-learning programs. She then worked for 3 years with a national nonprofit, HI USA, launching travel scholarship and community outreach programs in New Orleans.
In addition to teaching both “Taylor your Tulane” and “Taylor your Life” courses, Sarah is the Training Specialist and a Senior Advisor for the Newcomb-Tulane College Advising office. In her role, she designs training programs for the onboarding and continuous professional development of over 40 staff members working in advising and student success and provides individualized support to undergraduate students.
In her free time, Sarah enjoys adventuring with her family in the city of New Orleans and beyond, reading, and parading.
