Lesley-Ann Noel Leads Innovation Jam Workshop with Tulane University Human Resources Department

On September 26, 2019, Lesley-Ann Noel, Ph.D., Associate Director of Design Thinking at the Taylor Center led Innovation Jam, a design sprint focused on Tulane University with Faculty, staff, and graduate student participants.

Innovation Jam was part of Professional Development Day 2019, a program of the Tulane University Human Resources Learning and Organizational Development. This event promotes professional development opportunities and awareness of tools available to support growth for the Tulane community.

During the sprint, participants worked in multi-disciplinary teams using design thinking methods to address a university-wide problem. The teams were coached to define a goal, understand the constraints of the problem, brainstorm, create prototypes and get feedback on their design solutions.
