Tamia Toomer

Marketing and Communications Specialist.

Tamia Toomer is a Marketing Specialist with a passion for creating innovative and impactful marketing strategies. She specializes in engagement: captivating audiences through various marketing channels. Holding a degree in Communications from Tulane University, she has honed her skill set. With a background in Education, Tamia has had the privilege of working in a diverse range of organizations. Each experience deepened their understanding of life’s many complexities and concurrently refined their ability to tailor strategies to meet specific marketing goals. Outside of work, she’s an avid reader, part-time cross-fitter, and boxing enthusiast.

Tamia has a desire to promote positive change in the world by addressing societal issues. As a member of the Taylor Center staff, she is dedicated to furthering the mission to develop innovative ideas and approaches that lead to solving longstanding societal issues such as poverty, educational inequity, and healthcare access.
