Liz Langlois

Liz Langlois serves as the Director of Undergraduate Public Health Studies for the Tulane University Celia Scott Weatherhead School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. In her role, she manages several academic programs and is the major advisor to over 600 public health undergraduate students. She strives to empower students to be intentional and confident in their decision-making as they encounter academic and career challenges and face life after college. Prior to this role, Liz spent over 20 years as research scientist and project manager in the School of Public Health working in the fields of environmental and occupational health, data management and analysis, GIS, maternal and child health, curriculum development, outreach, and evaluation. 

Originally from Chicago, Liz has been living in New Orleans for 30 years. She has a Master of Science in Public Health from Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, a Master of Science in Urban Studies from the University of New Orleans, and Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Marquette University. Liz served as a Math & Science teacher in Cameroon with the US Peace Corps.
