Michaeline Anglemire is in her first year of the Master of Public Health Nutrition program. She received her undergraduate degree in dietetics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and spent the last two years serving as a Peace Corps community health volunteer in Mozambique. Within her community, she worked closely with issues related to HIV, malaria, and malnutrition, specifically within the area of maternal and child health nutrition and improving adherence to HIV treatment.

At Tulane, Michaeline is part of the Maternal and Child Health Nutrition Leadership Program and is a Graduate Assistant at the Taylor Center. She is enthusiastic about incorporating Design Thinking practices into her philosophy regarding “whole human health”, which takes into account an individual’s story and their lived experience to inform collaborative solutions to complex health problems. She is also a yoga and mindfulness enthusiast, and is eager to contribute a well-rounded, holistic approach to integrating health, collaboration, and evidence-based practices through her role as a Graduate Assistant.
