Chloe Schwanz is an MPH student at the Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine with a focus in Global Community Health and Behavioral Sciences. Chloe earned her undergraduate degree in Political Science, also from Tulane University. She first became interested in design thinking and social innovation in the Spring 2019 semester through the course Social Innovation for Public Health with Dr Laura Murphy. Within the course, Chloe also attended the Fast 48 Bootcamp and had the opportunity to experience hands-on design thinking. Currently, she is a Graduate Assistant in Research & Social Innovation at the Taylor Center.

Chloe also conducts research on sexual health education and policy along with professors in the Tulane Political Science department as well as within the Louisiana Public Health Institute.  Chloe’s career goals include utilizing design thinking to reduce gendered violence through educational programming.
