Alicia Buenaventura smiling in front of the ocean.

Alicia Buenaventura is a Junior from Dayton, OH majoring in Political Science and International Development with a minor in Social Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship. She got involved in the Taylor Center Freshman year in the Changemaker Institute where she was able to apply design thinking skills to research local social issues and find her purpose in that social service work. Outside of Taylor, Buenaventura is a violinist, a runner, and an activist on and off Tulane’s campus. She works with Tulane Admissions in a fellowship to help bring in and support more students from diverse backgrounds to the campus and in the Center for Public Service facilitating ethical community service for all students.
