Design Thinking the New Orleans Way

Our monthly breakfasts: Design Thinking the New Orleans Way(s) will be moving to an online format until further notice … and breakfasts will be BYO😊. These breakfasts intend to further foster community among those using design, design thinking, and related methods for social impact in the greater New Orleans area.

To that end, we look forward to connecting virtually until it is safe to commune in-person again. RSVP on Eventbrite for zoom information.

The Taylor Center’s monthly breakfast, “Design Thinking the New Orleans Way,” is a place to meet others who are not only using and teaching design thinking, human-centered design, design research, and other design approaches to creating societal impact, but who are also adapting these methods to be more effective and equitable.

The goal is to learn from each other. The format will evolve as we learn, together, what might be most valuable (and enjoyable!) to us all. Breakfasts will include both time to mingle and one or two quick activities to foster knowledge-sharing or community-building.

The breakfasts are open to all, however they are not about “how to get started”, but rather for connecting with other people in the field.

Please share this with anyone who would enjoy both sharing with and learning from other practitioners and educators in the greater New Orleans area.

Cost: If you/your organization feels comfortable contributing $15 for breakfast, we greatly appreciate you doing so. but if the cost is onerous, you are welcome to join us for free, no explanation needed, just select the ‘Free’ Option in the Eventbrite link.
