Taylor Your Life is a changemaking career education lab that allows upper-level students to design their life after graduation. Tulane students can enroll in a class, Tulane staff and faculty can express interest in teaching the class, and community members and higher education professionals can access our open-source curriculum. If you’re interested in attending a public workshop in the future, tell us here.
Taylor Your Life was created through combining our campus experience with extensive research on best practices and current trends in innovative career development curriculum. We are inspired by leaders in career education, life design, mindfulness, social impact leadership, and equity, diversity, and inclusion (Asher, 2009; Patel, 2013; Burnett & Evans, 2016; Brach, 2014; Net Impact, 2009; Sherman, 2015; Galinsky & Nuxoll, 2011). The Taylor Center's work in life design education builds on over a decade of social innovation teaching and research at Tulane and contributes to the growing movement to democratize life design in higher education and beyond. Our free and open-source curriculum has reached thousands of educators and students around the world looking to apply life design to create lives of meaning, purpose and impact.
