Changemaker Institute (CI) Ventures 2020

Each year, a select group of graduate students in Taylor’s social venture accelerator, the Changemaker Institute, work tirelessly in the evenings and on weekends to propel their idea for social change into a viable and sustainable social enterprise.

Participants in the 6-month program deepen their understanding of the social issue their venture tackles, gain social entrepreneurship and business development skills, and work as a cohort to iterate their idea and build a sustainable business model.  CI participants are either working to create their own social impact venture (such as a non-profit, program, student-run organization, or business) OR are focused on building a new and innovative capacity within an existing organization.

The Next Mile International is website to help Saudi students prepare for USMLE exams and GRE exams and prepare for medical school in the USA.

The website will include a written guide about the USMLE and GRE exams, a one on one personal guide with me and my potential partners in this project, resources for preparations from home, and recorded videos of personal experiences from other doctors and graduates.

At Pax Analytics, Kwasi and his team provide cloud software for social good organizations to collaborate and share data insights on social sector challenges.

Interdependence L3C is a holistic event production company that increases access to diverse tools for wellness and trauma resolution and invigorates the network of talented New Orleans healers and artists. We believe in a multi-modality and community-building approach to wellness that centers embodiment, mindfulness, and creative expression.

Process a Need Early (PANE) seeks to proactively work with minority and queer employees in helping to provide them with a better quality of life at work and achieve long-term employment retention.

Mission Statement: We aim to transform the ill-defined, (un)articulated, and ignored needs of corporate individuals and communities into empowering ones.

Vision Statement:A corporate America that values the retention of its diverse workforce and is free of bias and discrimination.

At Rooted our mission is to empower youth and their families to grow local quality fruits and vegetables while cultivating the next generation of leaders in Grand Bahama, The Bahamas.

Our vision is to ensure that every Bahamian resident has equitable access to locally grown food. We aim to do this through the creation of community gardens across the island- where youth can come to learn about what it means to grow local while developing their leadership skills.
