Join us for the first spring “Social Innovation Conversation” featuring Alessandra Bazzano and Marcella del Signore, two of our newer professors of social entrepreneurship. Dr. Bazzano is assistant professor in Global Community Health and Behavioral Sciences (GCHB) and Prof. del Signore is professor of practice in the School of Architecture. Our panelists will share how social innovation — and particularly design thinking and human-centered design–fit into their disciplines and research interests. We will field questions from our audience and hosts.
Young scholars, faculty, research partners– anyone interested in the ways their research efforts can connect with the pursuit of social innovations, i.e., new, effective, and system-aware solutions to persistent social problems are encouraged to attend. We welcome doctoral students, faculty, post-doctoral researchers keen to learn more about research in social entrepreneurship, design thinking and social innovation.
Taylor aims to promote networking, explore pathways in social innovation research, and advance our social innovation research collaborations –at Taylor, Tulane, with local universities, and community partners.
RSVPs are encouraged to firstname.lastname@example.org (but not required). Coffee and snacks provided! Bring your own lunch!
