Are you looking for a really cool and FUN summer job opportunity? Join the AmeriCorps Summer Service program at Tulane and work with A’s & Aces this summer:
- What is WaveCorps? WaveCorps is a summer service program offered by the CPS and funded in part by the Corporation for National and Community Service and AmeriCorps*VISTA.
- Stipend: Participants will receive a living stipend of $1,750, an end of service education grant of $1,000, as well as training and professional development from Tulane.
- When? The program runs during June and July, including training and orientation sessions. If students would like to add a public service internship to their WaveCorps experience, they need to complete additional hours of service at the end of the program as well as take part in a weekly seminar at Tulane.

A’s & Aces provides assistance to New Orleans public school children and other populations who have historically lacked access to quality educational support and tennis. We operate through the support of volunteers, partners, donors and philanthropic foundations, and use social entrepreneurship to promote sustainable educational equity (academic and physical), diversity and systematic social change. Dr. Anna Monhartova, co-founder of A’s & Aces, is part of the Tulane faculty teaching international development classes and service learning, and is the Director of Tulane’s Social Innovation Social Entrepreneurship Program @Taylor.
