When we think about Social Entrepreneurship in New Orleans in recent years, what role did Hurricane Katrina and the subsequent recovery and rebuilding play in the entrepreneurial mindset?

It’s a somewhat common notion that entrepreneurism in New Orleans is a byproduct of the recovery from Hurricane Katrina. In the last 10 years, the city has seen unprecedented growth of startups, but how much of that is really the result of Katrina?
