Program seeks to put Tulane biotechnology on market

The National Science Foundation is giving Tulane University money to help push technology-based research into the marketplace.

The project, Tulane I-Corps Site for a Resurgent New Orleans, is being funded with a $163,000 grant from the NSF. It will involve students, post-doctoral candidates, professors and entrepreneurs who will work as teams to transfer research at Tulane into the local marketplace.
